Former professional wrestler/announcer, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, has held a variety of occupations. His newest, being the governor of Minnesota. Now wishing to be called "The Mind, Ventura is a former Navy SEAL, was a wrestler, announced for WWF in the 80's, and has been in nine popular movies. He has been the mayor of a Minneapolis suburb for 5 years and was a radio talk-show host for a short period. He now is the first member of the reform party to hold a state office since Ross Perot created it. Recently he has been the topic of all media, usually in joking fashion. From David Letterman's Top Ten Running Slogans for Jesse Ventura to CBS Sportsline's Jesse Ventura 2000's cabinet. Many critique Minnesota for electing for only popularity reasons. However a large percentage of the voters polled said that they liked his views on the issues.
